Mini Council was set up to give younger children in the school a greater voice; it ensures that each class has a platform to voice children’s opinions. Pupils have the opportunity to suggest improvements for the school which, wherever possible will be implemented.
Our Mini Council is made up of 1 boy and 1 girl from each class in KS1. These helpful children were elected by the other children in their class after presenting a small speech on how they can help make our school a better place.
Mrs Brown leads the Mini Council at Bovingdon Primary Academy with the help of the Mini Councillors. Each fortnight they are given a question to ask their class which is then discussed at the council meeting and can help make changes across the school.
