We work closely with the local church and the vicar Reverend Burch, taking children on visits to the church during village walks, and at key times such as Harvest, Christmas and Easter. Reverend Burch also visits us weekly to give assembly to alternating key stages.
Bovingdon Baptist Church
Reverend Moody visits us regularly to give assemby to both key stages.
Bovingdon Village Library
The small village library is linked to the school and all classes from Nursery up to Year 6 have a weekly visit to borrow books. The Library also supports the school curriculum, arranges resources, special events, displays, holiday competitions, and organises visiting authors and storytellers.
Bovingdon Pre-School
We have close links with the local Pre-School, although attendance there does not guarantee a place here at the Academy.
